Eugene Swiere sued Harms Marine Service, Inc., for (1) damages under the Merchant Marine Act of 1920, commonly referred to as the Jones Act, (2) maintenance and cure under the General Admiralty Law, and (3) damages for failure to pay maintenance and cure, also under the General Admiralty Law.
