This is a condemnation suit brought by the state at the relation of the State Highway Commission of Missouri, to acquire property for the construction of Interstate Route 55. A portion of defendants' property, located in south St. Louis, was appropriated in this action. Located on said land was a four family flat known as 5500-02 Minnesota Avenue.
