Plaintiff, Dr. Howard Sensat, owned a home in Iota, Louisiana, which was severely damaged by fire on October 20, 1963. At the time of the fire the house was covered by a fire insurance policy issued by defendant, State Farm Fire and Casualty Insurance Company, with limits of $35,000 on the dwelling.
