BROWER, Justice.

This is an action in eminent domain brought by the State of Nebraska to condemn a strip of land to widen U. S. Highway Nos. 6 and 34 as it crossed the farmland belonging to the condemnees Fred C. Swanson and Clarence K. Swanson. Ruth L. Swanson and Donna A. Swanson are the respective spouses of the other condemnees and have no interest in the property except as such.
