Kemp, was convicted in the Criminal Court of Cook County, Illinois of the robbery of Reynold Mitchell and sentenced, on June 26, 1958, to a term of not less than nineteen (19) nor more than twenty (20) years' imprisonment in the Illinois State Penitentiary.
