Defendant-appellant, Francis Joseph Burke, was charged in a one-count information (defendant having waived indictment) with interstate transportation of a stolen motor vehicle knowing it to have been stolen in violation of Title 18, U. S.C. § 2312. After trial by jury, defendant was found guilty and was sentenced to serve 3½ years.
