This is an original proceeding in prohibition instituted in this Court. We issued our provisional rule and the respondent filed his return. All the facts essential to a determination of the question of jurisdiction are conceded, and the question is one of statutory construction. More specifically, the issue is the validity of an attempted service of process on two unregistered foreign corporations under § 351.630,1
