This is an appeal from a summary judgment. The appellee, Houston Oil Field Material Company, Inc., brought suit against the appellant, Thomas J. Alexander, on a promissory note bearing date of January 7, 1958, in the principal amount of $37,000.00 alleging that the corporation was the owner and holder of the note and that same was due and unpaid. In addition to the other allegations, appellee's petition alleged that a true copy of the note was attached...
