Oklahoma Turnpike Authority commenced condemnation proceedings against W.V. Deal and Emma Deal, referred to as defendants, to condemn and acquire for turnpike purposes the surface rights to 6.32 acres of land in McClain County. The Commissioners, in their report, listed the damages at $3,028.00, and both parties filed a demand for a jury trial. Thereafter, defendants withdrew their demand. The cause was tried...
