This is an appeal from an order granting a new trial to the unsuccessful plaintiff (Turner) in a negligence action tried by jury. A three-year-old child of the plaintiff was killed by an automobile driven by defendant. The complaint charged the defendant with negligence proximately resulting in the death of the child and sought damages for pain and anguish of the parents, for the father's loss of the child's services, and for his expenses incident...
