FANNING, Justice.

This is a condemnation case brought by the State of Texas against J. H. Reynolds and wife, for the taking for highway purposes of 7500 square feet of commercially zoned property on Harwood Street in the City of Dallas. The property taken was being used by Reynolds and wife as a residence and also for a sign painting business. The State's authority to condemn was admitted and the only dispute between the parties was the market value of the property...
