In this case, each of the two claimants (a mother and her baby) has pleaded a separate cause of action. The defendant moves to dismiss the infant's cause of action, brought by her maternal grandfather as guardian ad litem appointed by an order of this court. The State does not presently attack the other cause of action asserted by the infant's mother through her father as guardian ad litem...
