In early 1961 the parties entered into a verbal agreement for renovation of the electrical system in appellant's restaurant. Appellee completed the work on April 21, 1961, and it was approved by the District of Columbia. There is no dispute that the system operated satisfactorily until August 21, 1961, when it failed and appellant was without electricity for several hours during the evening.
