WHITE, Justice.

The plaintiff in error was convicted for the offense of criminal abortion and sentenced to serve not more than four years in the State Penitentiary.

In his appeal to this Court he has made twenty assignments of error, the controlling assignments, in our opinion, being those relating to the alleged error of the trial judge in entering judgment on the verdict immediately upon its being announced by the jury, and the refusal of the trial judge...
