The defendant assigns as error the refusal of the court below to quash the warrant in that it does not charge a prior offense as required by G.S. § 15-147.

The statute only requires that for an offense which, "on the second conviction thereof, is punished with other or greater punishment than on the first conviction, it is sufficient to state that the offender was, at a certain time and place, convicted thereof, without otherwise...
