In this action brought to recover for personal injuries and medical and hospital expenses, the infant plaintiff was awarded $75,000 by the jury, and his mother was awarded the sum of $10,185.60. Upon rendition of the verdict, the defendant moved to set it aside upon all the grounds set forth in the CPLR, except inadequacy.
