GORDON, Justice.

The crucial question presented, in this action for damages arising out of an automobile collision at a highway intersection, is whether Dalton (the plaintiff) was guilty, as a matter of law, of contributory negligence that proximately contributed to cause the accident. In view of the jury verdict in Dalton's favor, the evidence will be stated in the light most favorable to him.

The collision happened on October 26, 1962 at about 12:35 P.M...
