Defendants Johnson, Drake & Piper, Inc., (J. D. & P.) and Modern Erecting Company (Modern) appeal from denials of separate motions for judgment upon amended findings of fact or for a new trial.

The accident from which this case arose occurred on June 23, 1960, during the building of a hangar and one-story office and shop building for Western Airlines at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport —Wold-Chamberlain Field....
