FLEMING, J.

Defendant was found guilty of unlawful possession of heroin (Health & Saf. Code, § 11500). On appeal he contends the quantity of heroin seized was insufficient to sustain a conviction for possession of a narcotic.

On November 15, 1963, defendant had been arrested in a hotel lobby for being under the influence of narcotics. As the officers started to search defendant, he said he had a room in the hotel and would rather be searched there...
