This appeal primarily involves a suit on a promissory note. On July 7, 1961, Kenneth Davis and Frederick Streib, and their wives, defendants, who hereafter will be referred to as Davis and Streib, respectively, executed as makers a $25,000 promissory note payable to plaintiff E.T.
