In 1949 the plaintiff-appellee herein, Raymond Maddox, entered into an agreement with one Carl Higbee to manage a finance company for him. The business was to be called "Maddox Finance Company." The agreement provided that the appellee was to receive $300.00 per month salary and a commission of 50% of the net profits before taxes.
