On June 13, 1962, petitioner was a passenger in an automobile owned by his employer, L. A. Frey & Sons, and being driven by Everette S. Cole. The car, which was traveling west on a bridge across Red River, was halted for a traffic light on the Shreveport side of the bridge when a truck, owned by James V. Edmon and Carl W.
