AYRES, Judge.

This is an action in tort wherein plaintiff was awarded $2,500 in damages in a judgment, in rem, against defendant, a non-resident, jurisdiction of whom was sought by means of a writ of attachment. Defendant, represented by a curator ad hoc, made no personal appearance until after judgment, when she moved for and obtained orders of a devolutive appeal which she now prosecutes before this court.
