The jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff and against the defendants in the amount of $15,000.00, whereupon the defendants filed motions for new trial. Both motions for new trial were overruled, but the trial court sustained the alternative motion of the defendant Commercial Carriers, Inc., for judgment in accordance with its motion for a directed verdict and entered judgment in its favor.
