This prolonged litigation arises out of the purchase by defendant from Bellanca Aircraft Corporation of the latter's assets and business in New Castle, Delaware, in November 1956. For some years prior thereto, there was a labor contract in effect between Bellanca and the plaintiff Union providing, among other things, that (a) 60 days notice must be given by either party to the other of an intention to terminate or modify and (b) 15 days notice...
