DIMOND, Justice.

The Act of June 19, 1935, 49 Stat. 388, authorized the Tlingit and Haida Indians of Alaska to sue the United States in the Court of Claims for the recovery of just compensation for lands or other tribal or community property rights taken from them by the United States or in respect to which the United States had failed or refused to protect their interests.
