HOOD, Chief Judge:

The parties to this appeal, formerly husband and wife and hereafter referred to as such, signed a separation agreement in 1959 and two years later were divorced. The separation agreement provided for a stated monthly sum to be paid to the wife, and contained the following paragraph, the basis of the dispute here:

"8. Husband agrees to pay wife, until she remarries, additional alimony calculated as follows: Twenty percent of the excess over...
