This matter comes before the court on an appeal to the court of quarter sessions from a decision of a justice of the peace convicting appellant, John J. Purtell, of a violation of section 675.1 of the Penal Code of August 14, 1963, P. L. 1098, 18 PS §4675.1. This statute prohibits the purchase, consumption, possession or transportation of intoxicating liquors or malt or brewed beverages by minors.
