This action was commenced by the plaintiff against the several defendants jointly for damages resulting from a midair collision between two private airplanes attempting to land at the North Philadelphia Airport. Robert T. Wilson and Richard C. Hochrein were the pilots of the private planes and the airport tower was under the jurisdiction of the Federal Aviation Agency, manned by air traffic controllers in the employ of the Government.
