Plaintiffs, R.W. Bayuk and Cressa Bayuk, husband and wife, sued defendants, Jack A. Edson and Robert L. Bosworth, for alleged negligence in the performance of an oral contract for architectural services in connection with the construction of plaintiffs' home. After a court trial plaintiffs recovered judgment against defendants for $18,500, with interest and costs.1
