Respondent instituted this action to foreclose laborer's and materialman's lien on appellants' real property. In his complaint respondent alleges that he performed labor and furnished materials of the reasonable value of $5,090.86 in the remodeling, alteration and construction of appellants' dwelling house; that appellants paid $1,997.51 on the account, and refused to pay the balance of $3,093.35.
