Prior to September, 1962, petitioner was appointed secretary to a County Court Judge, pursuant to section 206 of the Judiciary Law. This section was repealed, effective September 1, 1962 (L. 1962, ch. 692, § 44). Also effective September 1, 1962, the County Court, Bronx County, was abolished, its functions and powers merged with the Supreme Court, and its judicial personnel became Justices of the Supreme...
