The issues on this appeal relate to the question of whether or not Raymond Burl Hilton was legally adopted in 1923 by Burl Oliver Hilton and Myrtle Mae Howard Hilton. After the death of Burl Oliver Hilton February 22, 1955, his succession was opened and Raymond Burl Hilton appeared therein to claim entitlement to the estate as an adopted son and sole heir of the deceased.
