This cause is before us on appeal from the action of the Circuit Court of LaSalle County in allowing as a credit against a judgment of $30,000 rendered on a jury verdict, the sum of $8,600 paid in settlement of dramshop liability to Anna Marie Haupt, the wife of the injured plaintiff.
