Respondent was admitted to practice on December 22, 1931 in the First Judicial Department. He is charged with violation of subdivision 2 of section 90 of the Judiciary Law and of canons 29 and 32 of the Canons of Professional Ethics in that over a period of time from June, 1961 he issued a substantial number of worthless checks on accounts which he maintained in two banks.
