This is a sidewalk "slip and fall case" in which plaintiffs, Rosa Lee and Alfred Green (husband and wife) seek damages from the abutting property owner, George F. Acosta, the City of Baton Rouge and the Parish of East Baton Rouge, in solido, in recompense for personal injuries sustained by the wife and medical expense incurred by the husband in the treatment thereof. The trial court rendered judgment in favor of plaintiff wife in the sum of $1,000.00...
