Plaintiff, Isidore Millet, a porter and long-time employee of defendant, The Pullman Company, filed two suits for workmen's compensation claiming that he was totally and permanently disabled as a result of two separate incidents. The cases were consolidated for trial and appeal. In the first suit the court below awarded maximum benefits.
