Appellant instituted this action pursuant to Chapter 87, F.S.A., by which he prayed for a judicial declaration of his rights as the former sheriff of Lafayette County to receive compensation for official services rendered during the years 1959 and 1960. From the final decree rendered herein, this appeal is taken.
