Relator, Edmond Meany Hotel, Inc., contracted to sell its 14 story hotel (hereafter designated as "Meany") in the University District of Seattle to Swedish Retirement Home, Vasa, Order of America, Inc. The earnest money receipt and agreement discloses that the purchaser intends to convert the hotel to a "Facility for Retired Senior Citizens." The agreement is contingent upon securing the "approval by the appropriate state, county and municipal authorities...
