The respondent's letter of July 30, 1960, was sufficient to meet the requirements of sec. 241.02 (2), Stats. When Mr. Milo Black prefaced his guaranty with the words, "In regard to credit rating for Gerald Black, . . ." he adequately expressed the consideration necessary to take the case from the statute of frauds, since it is clear from the record that the guaranty did not relate only to a past purchase.
