The state of Missouri at the relation of the Prosecuting Attorney of Howell County, Missouri, was successful in its action below in which it was adjudged that a parcel of land in Mountain View, Missouri, had escheated to the state upon the death of the owner, Levenia Peters, who died in 1923. See Chapter 470. (This and other statutory references herein are to RSMo 1959, V.A.M.S.) Appellants were brought into the case as possessors of the land...
