Charles B. Hoops, plaintiff, filed a motion for judgment against Ruth Tullock, defendant, to recover $100,000 for personal injuries, property damage and other losses he allegedly sustained as a result of a collision between a tractor-trailer owned and operated by him and an automobile owned and operated by defendant. The jury returned a verdict for plaintiff in the sum of $30,000. The trial court overruled...
