This is an action of trespass on the case for negligence to recover damages for personal injuries resulting from a rear-end collision. The case was tried before a justice of the superior court sitting with a jury and resulted in a verdict for the defendant. It is before us solely on the plaintiff's exception to the trial justice's decision denying his motion for a new trial.
