Plaintiff in error will be referred to as the defendant. On October 20, 1961, he was accused of having committed the crime of robbery on the 13th of October, 1961, in the City and County of Denver. The trial court appointed an attorney to represent him and on October 24, he was arraigned and pleaded not guilty.
