The petitioner, First National Bank of Mission, Texas, instituted this suit to recover of J. M. Warren the amount of principal, interest and attorney's fees due upon a note of $38,465.77. This note was secured by a chattel mortgage executed in favor of petitioner covering the cotton crop to be grown upon 400 acres of land located in Zavala County, Texas.
