This action seeks damages in the sum of $50,000 for personal injuries received by the plaintiff while a passenger in an automobile, owned and operated by the defendant, which collided with a tree. The jury returned a verdict in plaintiff's favor for $500. The plaintiff's motion for new trial on the issue of damages only was sustained. The defendant appealed and here contends that the trial court erred in sustaining plaintiff's motion for new trial...
