This is an action at law for damages based upon fraud and deceit. Plaintiff alleges in her complaint that she and defendant W. E. Gallant, Jr., were married on June 19, 1954, and thereafter lived together as man and wife until June 1955, when said defendant deserted her, and she then instituted an action for separate maintenance.
