The defendant Linda R. Barthel was found guilty of violating three subdivisions of Penal Code, section 337a: subdivision 1, engaging in bookmaking, subdivision 2, occupying a room with betting paraphernalia, and subdivision 4, recording or registering bets. She admitted two prior felony convictions. The sentences for each violation were ordered to run consecutively and consecutively with any prior incompleted sentences.
