In a jury trial, defendant was convicted of grand theft auto (Pen. Code, § 487, subd. 3) for the theft of a vehicle belonging to the National Truck Rental Company, on or about November 5, 1963. He was also convicted of burglarizing the F.C. Kingston Company on or about November 9, 1963. The burglary offense (Pen. Code, § 459) was found to be of the second degree.
