This is an appeal from a judgment of the trial court, sitting without a jury, awarding plaintiff (appellee) judgment against appellant in the amount of $2,839.80. Appellee had received two checks in payment for merchandise from Dell City Gin Co., by Mrs. Gerene Carson, drawn on the gin company's account with the State National Bank of El Paso, Texas.
